Description

A pizza box is only used for transportation, never storage - why? The box is too large to comfortably fit in a fridge. The SliceSaver is a pizza container focused on storage and sustainability.

The SliceSaver was modeled in Rhino and rendered in Keyshot and Unreal Engine.

What if a pizza box actually fit in the fridge?

As soon as the pizza gets home, the pizza is removed from the box, transfered to another container, and the box is discarded. This box takes up too much horizontal space to be conveniently stored in the fridge. The objective of this project is to design a box that takes up less horizontal space while simultaneously acknowledging that pizza is such a common food that this box will be thrown away once the pizza is finished.
